How to Grease the Gravitational Springs

Use a small flathead screwdriver to gently pry the tabs away from the brass washer and lift off the top plastic spring cover

Lower the arm to expose more of the shaft

Apply lubricant/grease in the valley between the shaft and brass washer

Cycle the arm up and down a few times

Reinstall the top spring cover
